Stories are a powerful medium for engaging children in STEM thinking. Through this interactive workshop participants will try out three examples of story-based engineering activities designed for early learners where they can build, test and try again in order to reach a goal. The M in STEM! Creative Connections to Early Math Skills
What do dinosaurs, shapes, patterns and liquids have in common? Math! Through this interactive Workshop, STEMSpark educators will share expertly designed activities that promote STEM thinking and focus on foundational math experiences. In this workshop we will define early math skills and share strategies for cultivating children’s critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
